Problematic

The CRAFOD was created to improve the well being of the population and say the fight against poverty. He is responsible for coordinating development projects across the province of Bas-Congo.

The CRAFOD has been given a legal status November 29, 2004 by the Church of Christ in Congo, Bas Congo Synod light of current realities and in light of the changes in its organizational structure and its goals.

Indeed, this legal status allows it to flourish and be competitive nationally and internationally, to access funds in accordance with current standards and this, in respect of the Protestant asceticism. Thus, the CRAFOD was elevated to a Non-profit association (association) associated with the Church of Christ in Congo, Synod of the Lower Congo.

Field activities

Currently, staff CRAFOD comprises 51 people, including about 24 people in the Kitomesa II. In total, six CRAFOD hiring women, or 12%. Among the four managers pane there are two women (Capacity Building and Gender and HIV + AIDS).
