Adama Bockarie
is an experienced mediator, holding a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Sierra Leone and a diploma in community development. She has worked with the Men’s Association for Gender Equality (MAGE-SL) since 2019 and joined the Africa Youth Steering Committee in 2022. With experience in project coordination and community mobilization, she leads efforts in gender justice and youth empowerment across Sierra Leone.
Mohamed Alarini Bah
is a facilitator in Open Space and Community Facilitation (World Café, Dialogue, etc.). He has served as Communication & Documentation Officer at the Sierra Leone Adult Education Association (SLADEA) since January 2018 and is also a Media Consultant and award-winning filmmaker. He has trained filmmakers in Sierra Leone, Liberia, the Gambia, Togo and Ghana through the Film Network West Africa.
Abdul Martin
is skilled in diverse methodologies like Open Space, World Café and Intergenerational Dialogue. As trainer and facilitator, he has over 15 years of experience, focusing on gender equality, peace-building and transformative masculinity. Abdul Martin has led national programmes with international and local partners and serves as country coordinator for the Men Engage Sierra Leone network.
Josephine Hassanatu Koroma
facilitates Open Space meetings and conferences. She holds an honours Degree in Mass Communication and a Diploma in Peace and Conflict Studies. Presently, she works as a project / communication officer at the Council of Churches in Sierra Leone (CCSL). She updates social media platforms with CCSL’s activities, plans and conducts trainings and writes report on project implementation.
Pious Mannah
is a trainer and practitioner for “Do No Harm”, Mediation, and Participatory Assessment of Climate and Disaster Risk. He holds a master’s degree in Development Management, a Bachelor degree in Banking and Finance and is currently concluding another master in Research and Public Policy. Presently, he works as the Disaster Risk Reduction and Security Manager at Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA-SL).
Salamatu Conteh
is a qualified “Do No Harm” trainer, working as an advocacy coordinator for the Mankind’s Activities for Development Accreditation Movement (MADAM) in Makeni. She is a development practitioner, social mobilizer, life skills trainer and motivational speaker. Over the last five years, she has mentored over one hundred women and girls and has recently launched her practical training titled “Story to Empowerment”.
