December 18, 2025SLADEA Organises its 9th Triennial National Delegates Conference in Kailahun, East of Sierra Leone

The Sierra Leone Adult Education Association (SLADEA) has concluded its 9th Triennial National Delegates Conference in Kailahun. The conference which spanned from 1st to 5th December 2025, provided a significant platform for national dialogue on the theme: “Campaign Against Drugs and Substance Abuse: The Role of Adult Educators.”

The programme featured structured presentations, panel discussions, and regional reports addressing critical concerns surrounding substance misuse and the responsibilities of adult educators in prevention strategies. Delegates also participated in institutional reviews and electoral proceedings, culminating in the induction of new executive members of the Association.

The conference reaffirmed SLADEA’s commitment to strengthening community education initiatives and advancing national efforts against drug and substance abuse in Sierra Leone.
