33 participants drawn from Faith Based, Community Based, Civil Society Organisations and students of the PCC Peace and Justice Centre, PCC-PJC\u2019 Buea and Bamenda Campuses have fine tune their skills in preaching, teaching and training for Peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was during the PCC sixth Training of Trainers (TOT) Workshop that took place on the Premises of the Victoria Guest House in Limbe, South West Region of Cameroon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop that started Monday May 16, 2022 saw the students introduced to various practical modules among which are Conceptualisation of a Workshop, Group Dynamics, Mediation, Human Rights, Security and Peace, Mediation, Arts for Peace, Theatre of the Oppressed, Digital Communication, Do No Harm and Flirt Chart Design and Management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Rev. Nta William, National Coordinator of the PCC Peace Work Office, speaking at the opening of the ceremony, encouraged participants to use the knowledge acquired in course of the training to positively transform their various communities for Peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The daily sessions were graced by facilitators across the different field of studies as per the modules. Each trainer took out time to explain to the trainees the intricacies of the diverse field of Peace work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To better appreciate and understand the study on Ecological Justice and Peace, the participants were taken on a guided touristic exercise at the Limbe Botanical Garden and another visit to the Mt. Cameroon Lava\u2019s deposition site at Bakingili. They were treated to various lessons to uncover the reason for the lava flow many years back in the locality and how peace can be threatened as a result of the hazards from the disaster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This exposed the participants to the natural flora and the importance and relations of the garden\u2019s property to human and environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
