With the implementation of programs that contribute to the achievement of the CPS regional strategy highlighting three outcomes, CPS Network Partners recently held their trimester meeting that brought together partner organizations in Liberia.<\/div>\n

The three outcomes are: That young women and men find their place in a changing society and assert their interests in a non-violent manner; At local and international levels, communities and initiatives visibly and publicly advocate for use of natural resources that is stabilizing for society; and local communities work together to integrate marginalized groups, and strengthen cultural and religious tolerance.    <\/span><\/p>\n

Eight CPS Network Partners in Liberia in furtherance of the achievement of the CSP\u2019s regional strategy met recently in Bong County, Central Liberia to reflect, share lessons and adopt best practices that will help to increase effectiveness and efficiency among member organizations.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

CPS Bread for the World Participants at the Trimester Meeting<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

Under the theme: \u201cSocial Cohesion and Sustainable Development through Networking and Collaboration: Strengthening CPS-BftW Liberia Network Partners through Effective Collaboration, Planning and Sharing of Experiences and Lessons.  <\/span><\/p>\n

One of the Coordinators of CPS Liberia Network, Mr. Joseph D. Howard in a brief remark said it is important that network partners continue to meet and share experiences, plan and implement activities as CPS Bread for the World Partners. CPS Network Partners presented and discussed partners\u2019 summary activities report, presented an update <\/span>on CPS Liberia and follow – up on activities and program being implemented under CPS regional strategy.<\/span><\/p>\n

During a feedback and learning session, CPS Network  Partners proffered  on the need for a joint action on illicit drugs, with mass action against the proliferation of illegal substances in communities and a proposal for a research on inter-generational trauma.<\/span><\/p>\n

They also stressed the need to encourage farmers to invest in financially viable initiatives, like bees farming that provides more income and use less land space, thus protecting biodiversity and the environment in general. <\/span><\/p>\n

The meeting brought together participants from eight organizations of CPS Bread for the World Partners.  Among them were: Executive Directors, Chief Executive Officers and Heads of CPS Partner Organizations, and CPS-BFTW program focus persons.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
