Young Peace Influencers Soon to Be at Work
On April 7th and 8th at Bangangté Town Hall, APADER held a training workshop for around one hundred young people on the critical and responsible use of social media.
Students from ISTEC, the Bangangté Bilingual High School, and the Thomas Noutong Evangelical College were accompanied by Guy Feugap, African organizer of World Beyond War, as they explored the risks and potential of social media and the need to use its power to influence for peace and social cohesion.
This activity is part of the new SCP/Bread for the World project, through which APADER aims to help educate young people on cultural, moral, and civic values and on the critical and responsible use of social media, so that they can use this knowledge to positively impact their various environments.
