The training aimed at mobilizing mix groupings in the community to serve as peace promoters during the 2023 elections. The training also introduced participants to non-violent communication, the constitution and early warning signs. Participants were drawn from the Motorcyclist Union, the Marketing Association, youth groups, the security sector and community leaders. Key to the methodology, participants were placed in groups to take elections issues, and civic education to schools, churches and communities. At the end of the training, participants were certificated as peace promoters.

The training also attracted the Election Magistrates of Nimba and Bong Counties.
