CPS – Bread for the World Developing Programs for the Next Strategic Period

The Civil Peace Service concluded a one-day Mano River Union (MRU) Program Development Workshop on March 14, 2023. In attendance were participants from eight organizations making up the Civil Peace Service (CPS) Liberia Network.

The Program Development Workshop dealt with thematic issues in program context and priorities, with group discussions and presentations. Participants also made inputs on the field of action and program priorities. Discussions also centered on youth programs, partners’ visualization within their organizations and youth programs.

One key impact of CPS partner organizations involvement and participation in the program development provides increased commitment and full implementation to CPS programs by Network Partners.

The CPS is a German-funded program aiming at preventing violence and promoting peace in crisis zones. The Civil Peace Service - Bread for the World - Partners work with marginalized groups to reduce fragmentation in society and ensure that natural resources are utilized for the benefit of the general public.
