April 6, 2022Peace Promoters Resolve To Use Newsletters As Marketing Tool To Upscale Visibility-UPAC YAOUNDE
Some 14 Peace Organisations drawn across Cameroon have taken the resolution to begin producing quality newsletter letter to enhance the visibility of their activities.
They took the resolutions recently in Yaounde after acquiring practical skills on planning, production, and publication of newsletters.
For three days, the peace promoters learnt how to write impact articles that captures the achievements of the organisation, how to plan for editorial meetings, how to design newsletters, how to publish online and in physical, amongst others.
“I feel very motivated now more than ever to begin producing newsletters and sending to my partners, beneficiaries and to Policy Makers,” Dr Lucy Nkongho of ISTP intimated. They equally learned how to situate newsletters in content and context and making them relevant to their respective audience.
“Our organisation has already drawn a roadmap to begin the production of our newsletter which should be out before April. After going through the training, we came to realise that we unconsciously made some errors in the past. We intend to produce quality publications moving forward,” CCMN SG, Yanick Fonki, said.
The training that ran from January 31 to February 2, was facilitated by a member of the CPS Support team of BftW, Christian Kuijstermans, and supervised by the National Coordinators of the Civil Peace Service. It was sponsored by Bread for the World, as part of its missions to promote a peaceful society.
